Set at over 2,000 metres, Tignes is one of the most snow-sure resorts in the Alps, part of the Tignes–Val d’Isère ski area with over 300 km of slopes and a season running from late November to May. Major government and private investment is under way to establish Tignes as a 40-week, year-round resort, with glacier skiing, hiking, golf and mountain biking extending the season well beyond winter. Tignes also holds Famille Plus certification for its family-friendly environment. Genesis sits within walking distance of the lifts, shops and restaurants, with Val d’Isère a short drive beyond.

Tax Benefits Available
Genesis qualifies for a number of tax incentives available to new-build buyers in France. Chief among these is the Para-Hôtelier scheme, which allows buyers to reclaim the 20% VAT included in the purchase price by opting the property into furnished, short-term rentals offering at least three hotel-like services — such as concierge, cleaning, or linen supplies — for a minimum term set by French tax law.
